For many, Thursday is the one day of the week where one moves about our fair city of Perez Zeledon, seeking to satisfy a checklist, by fulfilling errands and purchasing food and supplies for the week ahead.  It also serves as a time for socialization, weaved into the fabric of the day.  This Thursday, another item to insert into the list, is the North American holiday of Thanksgiving.  One might ask, how can it all fit in one day?  Don't panic yet, because there may be a perfectly flexible solution.

Soda Imagen Mundial will be offering an informal Thanksgiving feast all day long, so you can enjoy the traditional meal and still be able to get your checklist checked.  But wait, there is more good news- no need to make yourself sick just because it's traditional.  In addition to the standard Thanksgiving fare, they will be offering healthy vegetarian, vegan and wheat free options. So now one can really enjoy the holiday, eat well and be thankful for getting all the errands taken care of.  This may be the day to proudly post on Facebook for all those friends and relatives back in the US.

So here is the sample menu:  Free range fowl with stuffing, vegetarian and wheat-free stuffing, mashed potatoes (regular and vegan), candied yams (regular and vegan), greenbean mushroom casseroele, black/cranberry sauce, apple walnut salad, green salad, desserts; pumpkin pie (regular and vegan), fruit pie of sorts, bread pudding, rice noodle kugel (non dairy) and some holiday beverages.  Depending upon the availability of ingredients, menu is subject to some changes.  They will be serving from 11 o'clock on.  Price varies depending on the meat or non meat versions, expect a ¢4,500 - 5,000 charge all inclusive except for the full array of desserts which will be extra.  If you just don't have time you can always get your Thanksgiving meal to go.  Call 2772-6461 for more information, directions or requests.
