A Call To Sustainability and New Beginnings!
Sunday, 24 July 2011 21:57

I see now a shift taking place... a change... of values, of desires, of how we live our lives. Humanity is collectively transforming. Old systems are beginning to crumble. New paradigms are emerging.

I see a growing movement towards sustainable living, community-mindedness, and heart-centered interactions. I see a love for our precious earth being renewed and a desire to live closer to nature blossoming in many of the people.

I see an exodus of sorts beginning to take place. New era pilgrims in seek of new lands to reconnect with nature and with their hearts, to grow food that is healthy and safe to eat, to live more simply, and to join a growing community of like-minded visionaries. I believe there are various "promised lands" calling these "chosen ones" forth. I believe I live in such a place - Costa Rica... and specifically the southern Pacific zones of Costa Rica.

I live in the Chirripo Valley, just 30 minutes outside Costa Rica. Here is a place with an abundance of pure clean water, fresh air, virgin rainforest, a plethora of medicinal plants and trees, year-round growing climate for a diverse array of foods, lack of over-development, and kind gentle people. Yet, there has been a long-standing lack of education regarding sustainable land management systems. Many farms have mono-cropped coffee, used commercial pesticides and fertilizers, and clear cut forests.

Our vision is to call forth fellow visionaries and pioneers to come here, resettle, and reclaim these precious lands... plant new seeds in the ground and in the lives of the locals. Through example we can teach a new way, preserve the precious forests, and build a collective of self-sustaining conscious-living homesteads and communities. Many locals want to move to the cities and be freed of their farm - opening the door for a new group of settlers to come in.

As life in the many parts of the world, especially the US, continues to become more regulated and difficult, new lands shine with hope and promise. The lack of good water, the pollution, genetically modified crops, a crumbling economic system, and growing force of control are stirring a powerful desire in many for a new way... a way that is more simple, free, real, and sustainable. Land in Costa Rica is still relatively cheap. Organic food can be grown year round. Life is not as high-tech and stressed. Cost of living can be extremely affordable... especially if one practices sustainable life-style choices, such as, growing their own food, building with local natural materials, cooking with wood, reducing gasoline usage, bartering, sharing homes and land, and so on.

Several years ago we bought a farm here. 11.5 acres, bordered on 2 sides by virgin rainforest. It has year-round delicious spring water. We transformed an abandoned coffee farm into a an amazing organic edible landscape. We put in spring-fed ponds, we built cabinas  from materials grown here, we remodeled the main house and filled it with love, we let a lot of the jungle return, we planted flowers, food gardens, and fruit trees... And we saw a beautiful vision emerge. We saw how we can use our talents and skills to prepare these lands in need of love and restoration for the new generation of conscious stewards. We saw that we can consciously invite earth loving, heart-centered people to come and put roots into this precious promised land. Together we can stand firm and prevent further deforestation. We can bring more light into a divine part of this country. We can contribute to creating a true heaven on earth. Part of the mission of The Revolution Project is "to create a global network of self-sustaining communities..."

We are now working towards preparing more lands for more seekers of truth and righteousness. We are also currently selling our farm to help push this vision forward. We have priced our farm below market value... hoping to make it available to a wider range of people and to expedite this process of ushering in the new paradigm.

If this message reaches you and awakens a truth and desire within you, please contact us. Perhaps you will be the next steward of the farm we have called home... perhaps you will be a partner or investor in future projects... perhaps you know someone that wishes to be a part of this movement... perhaps you hear the call to this "promised land".

You can see a video tour of the farm on The Revolution Project website: www.TRPCR.com... go to the sidebar and click the Video button, then click link to watch the farm tour.

Thank you for your beautiful article. We too came here with the same intentions and hope that more will follow as we move into the next chapter of humanity. :-)
