Buenaventura's Rainforest Retreat & Jungle Party includes:
Lodging or Tent Camping (2 or 3 nights)
River-front Lodging or Tent Camping in Pueblo Nuevo Eco-Village along the banks of a fresh water river (big enough for rafting and kayaking)
Meals (either 5 or 8 depending on # of nights)
* Organic Home Grown/Home Cooked Meals served Family Buffet style at Tres Semillas Mountain Restaurant & Organic Farm (located directly across the river from Buenaventura's Pueblo Nuevo Eco-Village - and you get to cross Puente Alma, our little version of the Golden Gate Bridge!
Tour #1: Avatar Adventure Rainforest Hiking Tour to Toucan Rock Waterfalls (with Blue and Orange Natural Clay Full-body Mud Baths) - Hike up 1,500 feet to El Mirador Summit (with sweeping views of the river and valley below and where the S Tower is located, Buenaventura's solar powered Internet tower that makes this place Jetsons in the Jungle!
Tour #2: Buenaventura & Tres Semillas Edible Food Forest & Farm Tour (eat raw Cacao, Sugar Cane, Noni, Coconuts, and lots of exotic and tropical fruits) * This tour is only for those staying 3 nights, since we do it on March 7th

* Free to explore over 1 mile of river-front and 1,500 feet of elevation gain on hiking trails over rainforest covered mountains leading to Buenaventura's El Mirador Summit & Tent Camp and the greater area.
* Take a back-country and "back-in-time" walk downriver to the rural river-side town of El Brujo (The Wizard), where legend has it that when the Spanish tried to explore these lands back in the 1500s looking for gold from the Native Indians, they would get lost in the mountains and where run out by Shaman elders who used witchcraft and magic (most likely Ayahuasca is my guess), thus the Spanish called the area El Brujo.. The Wizard.

Tres Semillas Eco-Educational Classes & Workshops
Option to take gardening workshops and cooking classes at Finca Tres Semillas (www.experiencecostarica.org). Learn how to make chocolate, fresh cheese, tamales, pupusas, chorriadas, and learn how to plant, grow and harvest your own food, compost and reuse.
Rafting or Kayaking
Can be arranged ahead of time with two local operators who know this stretch of the river (El Llano Put in to El Brujo Put out)
Horseback Riding
Horses can be rented and tours are available.

Getting to Buenaventura: Drive yourself in a 4x4, hire a 4x4 taxi or we can try to help arrange ride-shares with those who will be driving to and out of Buenaventura (we're suggesting a $10 per person ride-share contribution each way). We can help arrange ride-shares if you need one. Currently I have space in my 4x4 for up to 3 more people.

Space and Ticket Packages are on a first-come first serve basis. Retreat is limited to 30 guests. So far we have 9 guests confirmed, some cool friends from SF, including one of the producers of Decompression and the Sea of Dreams NYE party in SF, MC and DJ Fllow (from SF) and some playa friends from camps including Space Cowboys, Red Lightning, Brass Tax, etc.
