THE BIG SHIFT – GREAT CHANGE IS COMING TO THE PLANET

 A Vibrational Universe 

Almost everyone is aware that enormous change is happening to this planet even if they are only aware of climate change. Although there is no doubt that global warming is affecting the earth-changes, there are many other enigmatic phenomena, such as an increase in seismic activity, solar flares and anomalies in the rest of the solar system that are harder to explain. There are other factors driving the changes. This article will offer some alternative explanations, which will hopefully enable us to better comprehend this process of change. It has been given many names – Armageddon, the Apocalypse, the 2012 thing, the Ascension, etc – but I prefer to call it the Big Shift. Although many of us understand the Shift in an intuitive way, a left-brained, logical understanding is also very useful in bringing us balance and clarity.

Let's firstly acknowledge that it is difficult to articulate the concepts that will appear in this essay. I apologize in advance for oversimplifying this information and hope that you will read it with open hearts and minds.

A deeper understanding of this, and many other mysteries, is possible if we can shift our perspective with the notion that everything in our collective reality is made from the same stuff - something that we call 'energy'. This is a concept that was well known to the ancient sages and, in the wake of Einstein and quantum physics, is being embraced by the scientific community. The famous equation, E=mc2 suggests that all matter is a manifestation of energy, that what appears to be solid is actually an illusion. Quantum physics recognizes that creation is non-solid and non-continuous, that it is expressing itself in very rapid short bursts of light/energy called 'quanta'.

The mystics take this a step further, saying that matter, light, information, sound, and even thought and emotion are said to be forms/expressions/manifestations of energy, measurable in wave frequencies. Even the non-physical aspects of reality are manifestations of energy. Seeing things from this perspective will help us to understand what is happening to our reality and thus help us to be better prepared for the imminent changes.

If we understand that everything in our physical universe is a manifestation of energy, then we also understand that every aspect of our physical reality has it's own unique rate of vibration or frequency. Lead and oxygen are both made of the same stuff – energy. The difference is that oxygen is vibrating at a higher frequency than lead. Every aspect of physical reality has its own signature frequency. Even those less tangible things such as thoughts, words, emotions, sound, light; they can all be understood in terms of frequency – vibrating energy.

Our reality is defined by a band of frequencies, from the lowest/slowest to the highest/fastest and everything in between. In other words, there are parameters to our physical reality, a lowest frequency and a highest frequency, beyond which it is no longer physical. Those aspects of reality, those vibrations of energy outside the physical parameters belong to some other level of reality. Those non-physical vibrations may be accessible by ‘extra-sensory perception’, but they are beyond the scope of our five senses.

However, that band of frequencies that defines our physical reality is changing - it is rising. The parameters of our reality are changing - they are including ever-higher vibrations and excluding those near the lower parameter. Those aspects of our reality that are made up of lower vibrations, are having a 'harder time existing' here on the physical plane. Things are shifting. The changes are affecting the planet, as well as human consciousness, both as individuals and as a collective.
 
Scientific experiments and demonstrations, some from a branch of science called Cymatics, have shown us that our actions - our thoughts, words, deeds and emotions - can also be recognized as things that are made of energy, vibrating at specific frequencies. Using machines similar to polygraphs (lie-detectors), they've shown that actions based in love and compassion have a higher frequency than those based in fear. As our reality shifts it will become increasingly difficult for those of us acting in a fearful/negative way, and easier for those of us acting in a loving/positive way. This new circumstance is bringing a great opportunity for us here on Earth. We can now take major strides in our own spiritual growth, our personal healing. We are waking up en-masse and embracing a new way of being that is more compassionate, more positive. We are being invited to ready ourselves to ascend into a glorious new reality.
 

Why is this happening? What is causing our parameters of reality to shift, our frequencies to rise? How is our relative position in the cosmos affecting life on Earth? How are the changes affecting our consciousness and how is our consciousness affecting the changes? How are we experiencing the changes in our day-to-day life? How can we prepare? The most important thing to remember as we address this great mystery is to hold on to our vibrations of love, joy and compassion. There is nothing to fear, everything is proceeding as it should.

The Great Cosmic Cycle

Whoever came up with the words 'catastrophe' and 'disaster', both of which contain the root 'astre'(star), knew that cataclysms here on this planet are directly related to our position relative to the stars. Earth is subject to many different cycles, often having to do with its orbits through the cosmos. This segment deals with the notion that our planet is moving through the cosmos according to periodical cycles, and that our position in the cosmos has been and continues to be a key factor triggering earth-changes.

The Earth is subject to many different cosmic cycles. Different positions relative to other cosmic bodies expose us to different strengths of electro-magnetic and gravitational force. Some positions within these cycles cause the planet to come in contact with an increased amount of energy radiation, some positions with less. The amount of energy, as well as the frequency of the energy with which we interact, is a major factor affecting many aspects of life on Earth. As mentioned in the last segment in this ongoing article, we can think of ourselves and of everything else, as manifestations of energy. Our consciousness, both at the individual and collective levels, can be thought of as energy patterns. We are continually interacting with each other and energy patterns from a variety of sources, including the Earth, the moon, the sun and other cosmic bodies. We are affected by these sources and in turn we affect them.

Energy from different sources in the cosmos interacts with our consciousness here on Earth. This is the same basic notion that underlies the practice of astrology, which seeks to identify certain predispositions in one's character based on the position of the planet at the time of that individual's birth. Different energies coming in from different cosmic bodies have been said to have their own unique qualities, which somehow imprint upon the newborn personality. These different energies are said to affect us in different ways.

There are several different cycles that affect life here on Earth, some small and less significant and some greater, with greater significance. Probably the most important of these is one that has come to be called the precessional or great cosmic cycle. Ancient societies were well aware of this cycle. It is approximately 26,000 years in length. In other words, circumstances here on the planet change according to this cyclical pattern, taking 26,000 years to complete (actually 25,920). Different 'ages' within this cycle have different energies, different qualities. If we divide 25,920 by twelve, we get the twelve signs of the zodiac; twelve ages, each lasting 2,160 years. We are said to be currently at the end of the Piscean age, about to enter the age of Aquarius.

It is said that twice in every 26,000 year cycle we are exposed to an increased amount of energy radiation, an accelerated frequency of vibration, which effects our tectonic plates and volcanic activity, climate, magnetic field and other things. It also affects our consciousness. Earth-changes of varying intensities are said to have taken place roughly every 13,000 years, at which time we are 'pre-disposed' to cataclysm.

In our universe cosmic bodies are in constant motion, revolving around other bodies that have greater gravitational pull. Just as the moon revolves around the earth and the earth around the sun, so does our entire solar system revolve elliptically around another enormous source of gravity out there in the cosmos. This source has been given many names – the Mayans call it Hunab Ku. We'll call it the Galactic Center. Our planet's position in the galaxy changes from year to year. It would take 25,920 years before the planet will be in the same position, relative to the rest of the cosmos, as it is right now.

During this cycle, as our solar system revolves around the Galactic Center, there are times when our position is such that we are exposed to increased amounts of energy radiation. Twice in every 26,000 year period we are closer to this center due to the elliptical shape of the orbit. We are thus exposed to more energy, to higher frequencies, than when we are far from it. The life forms on the planet tend to entrain, to resonate in synch with whatever new frequency the planet is experiencing.

Thus, as the planetary frequency increases, the frequency of our collective consciousness also tends to increase. Because our consciousness is interacting with more energy, we become more 'enlightened' or 'awakened' during this period. The higher vibratory rate also tends to 'shake' the planet, causing many changes in the patterns and 'behavior' of the planet. For the other half of the cycle we move away from the energy source and thus fall 'asleep'. At these times the planet is denser - more stable.

In other words, every 13,000 years, the planet is exposed to a greater energy that physically destabilizes it and creates an opportunity for great change. Many earth-changes, including the 'Great Flood', are said to have occurred 13,000 years ago. The Wisconsin ice age came to an end at that time. Many animals, such as mammoths, saber tooth cats and the like went extinct at that time. We are said to be, once again, on the verge of great change - a new era.

We are about to enter the 'Age of Aquarius'. We are entering that part of the cycle that brings higher frequencies. These new circumstances bring great opportunities for us to make enormous advances in our healing, in our evolution. They may also bring some degree of cataclysm. However, some information is saying that this particular opportunity is different than the other '13,000 year opportunities'. Some say that, unlike other great transitions in the past, the planet is about to vibrate its way into the fourth realm, into Christ-consciousness, taking many of its inhabitants with it. This is what is referred to as the 'Big Shift'.

Prophecies

"The Fourth World shall end soon, and the Fifth World will begin. This the elders everywhere know. The Signs over many years have been fulfilled, and few are left."

John Hogue, who has spent many years examining prophets and prophecies of all kinds and has published many books on the topic, has this to say:

"All prophetic cycles throughout history pinpoint the final years of the 20th century as a turning point or cusp, with prophets of great diversity foreseeing humankind destroyed by an outer fire, or transformed by an inner one."

So many people have made statements and predictions about now-time that they can't all be mentioned. Here is a list of some of the more familiar names and cultures; the Hopi, Lakota, Cherokee, Aztecs, Mayans, Aborigines and many other indigenous cultures rooted in shamanic practices; various writers of the Old and New Testaments as well as the Hindu Puranas and the Buddhist Dharma Pada; writings in stone on walls in various structures such as the pyramids and ancient temples; Nostradamus, George Gurdjieff, Tamo-San, Mme. Blavatsky, Osho, Berosus, Baha-ulah, Abdul Baha, Sri Aurobindi, Roger Bacon, Cheiro, Krishnamurti, Mohammed and Y'shua bar Yusef, better known as Jesus of Nazareth; modern psychics like Edgar Cayce, Ruth Montgomery, Jean Dixon and Gordon Michael Scallion.

Many ancient calendars and traditional cycles end in now-time. Here is a list of some of them;

- the ancient Egyptian calendars as represented on the pyramid walls

- the Persian Mythratic calendar of 3,000 year cycles

- the last 500 year cycle of the Celts/Druids and the Teutonic Tribes of ancient Germany

- the 7,000 year cycle of the grand calendar of the Qabalistic/Hermetic schools

- the Emerald Tablets of Thoth which is the basis of the Hermetic Sciences of Alchemy, the Freemason Doctrine, the ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools, etc., which says "Mankind is in the process of changing to forms of light that are not of this world."        

- the Tibetan traditions which state that there will be only fourteen incarnations of the Dalai Lama (the current one is the fourteenth)

- the Buddhist traditions, in which the Wheel of Dharma requires a new Buddha figure every 2,500 years (Gautama Buddha arrived 2,500 years ago)

- the Hindu traditions say that we are currently at the end of the Kali Yuga, which is the last yuga of a grand cycle (a yuga is a period of time)

- Astrological traditions claim that it takes 25,920 years (twelve ages of 2,160 years) to do a complete rotation through the zodiac. We are currently in the final stages of the Piscean age which is considered to be the final one of the cycle, and are about to enter the age of Aquarius

- the Mayan Tzolk'in calendar, possibly the most sophisticated calendar that we know of, ends in 2,012

- the Sumerian calendar, also very sophisticated, which is based on the 25,920 year long cycle, divided into twelve eras of 2,160 years (like the astrological zodiac), as well as a cycle of 3600 years which is said to be the length of orbit of the solar system's 'tenth planet', Nibiru.

- many diverse cultures have calendars or other means of referring to the great cosmic cycle that was discussed in the last issue.

One of the things getting a lot of attention these days within the alternative information community is the Hopi prophecies. They have a list of 9 'first signs' that tell of the coming of the end-times:

" First Sign: We are told of the coming of the white-skinned men, like Pahana, but not living like Pahana, men who took the land that was not theirs. And men who struck their enemies with thunder. (guns)

" Second Sign: Our lands will see the coming of spinning wheels filled with voices. In his youth, my father saw this prophecy come true with his eyes -- the white men bringing their families in wagons across the prairies."

" Third Sign: A strange beast like a buffalo but with great long horns, will overrun the land in large numbers. These White Feather saw with his eyes -- the coming of the white men's cattle."

" Fourth Sign: The land will be crossed by snakes of iron." (the railways)

" Fifth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider's web." (power-lines)

" Sixth sign: The land shall be criss-crossed with rivers of stone that make pictures in the sun." (highways)

" Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it." (pollution of the oceans)

" Eighth Sign: You will see many youth, who wear their hair long like my people, come and join the tribal nations, to learn their ways and wisdom. (the hippie movement?)

" Ninth Sign: You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of my people will cease. (the coming of a new cosmic body – the blue sun or Planet X?)

Song of the Hopi Elders:

Here is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift,
that there are those who will be afraid,
who will try to hold on to the shore,
they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.
Know that the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore,                                 
push off into the middle of the river,
and keep our heads above water.
And I say see who is there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history we are to take nothing personally,
least of all ourselves, for the moment we do,
our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over.
Gather yourselves.
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
For we are the ones we have been waiting for.

Magnetics Versus Frequency

There are two key factors that effect life on this (and possibly any other) planet, the strength of the magnetic field and the average frequency at which the planet vibrates. The Earth is an electro-magnetic entity, and so are all of its resident life-forms. Every cell in our bodies has an electrical charge and a magnetic field.

Ancient mystery school knowledge tells us that the electrical (male, mental, yang) aspect of our being represents all the information of our true, multi-dimensional reality - the totality of creation. However, exposure to such a totality of information would overwhelm us, causing a type of 'circuit meltdown'. The magnetic (female, emotional, yin) aspect acts as a shield or buffer, allowing us access to only a certain amount of the totality of information. We are thus protected from being overwhelmed by the 'larger truth', for which we are not yet prepared. One must have total mastery over one's fears and react to every possible circumstance with love and compassion in order to be prepared to witness the totality of creation. Thus, our perceptive capacity, our state of being at any given time is defined by this balance between frequency and magnetics.

The ancient mystery schools of Egypt (consisting of twelve years for the Left Eye of Horus - corresponding to the right brain - and twelve years for the Right Eye of Horus - corresponding to the left brain) are said to have used magnetics in the process of 'training' initiates. It is said that different chambers in various temples and structures were constructed to have varying degrees of magnetic strength. The first of the twelve chambers would have the least decrease in magnetic strength and the initiate would be presented with lessons pertaining to a relatively mild aspect of the human experience. If the initiate overcame his fear of that aspect and reacted with love, he would pass the test and graduate to the next level of training. He would thus be able to handle increasingly lower levels of magnetics. The twelfth and final test is said to have taken place in the 'King's Chamber' in the Great Pyramid, where the magnetic strength was close to nil. Only an initiate with complete mastery over his fears and an ability to sustain a state of love/compassion would survive such a test. With the ability to activate and control his personal electro-magnetic field, he would be placed in the 'sarcophagus' (granite box) for three days (the same amount of time that Jesus is said to have taken before his resurrection), during which he would shift to a higher octave of expression at a cellular level. Hopefully, he would thus ascend into Christ-consciousness or reach enlightenment.

Magnetic fields are said to accommodate memory. Our personal memories are governed by our personal fields, while our collective memory (sometimes referred to as the Akashic Record) is governed by the planetary field. Memory could be defined as a retained body of finite information, a portion of the infinite whole. Some say that a major Earth-change/cataclysm is accompanied by a collapse of the magnetic field and that whatever happened 13,000 years ago caused the field to collapse for three days, resulting in our collective memory being wiped clean. They say that it signified the end of the Atlantean age and that we lost all language and knowledge from that era, causing us to have to 'start over'.

Scientists are not sure as to the cause of the Earth's magnetic field. We do know that an iron bar with a coil of wire wrapped around it will generate a magnetic field when a current of electricity is sent through the coil. To reverse the direction of the current is to reverse the polarity of the field. Probably the most popular theory about the cause of our field postulates that the planet's solid iron inner core is rotating at a different rate than its mantle/crust, due to the molten, fluid outer core. This would generate an electrical charge, which in turn would generate a magnetic field.

Core samples taken from the ocean floor have shown that there have been many polarity reversals and changes during the planet's 4.5 billion year history. Magnetic strength is a specific quantity, measurable in 'gauss' units. The Earth's field, which was at a peak about 1,000 years ago according to estimations, has decreased 38% to it's present state which has been measured at 8.0 x 10²⁵ gauss units. Most of this significant reduction has happened in the last few decades, due to a change in position of the Earth's core relative to the rest of the cosmos. (Recently, a documentary by Dr. David Suzuki aired on mainstream media dealing with this phenomenon. It pointed out that the magnetic poles are becoming increasingly volatile, changing positions often and presenting a great challenge to many, including flight control towers. This volatility is a symptom of the diminishing magnetic field.)

We have already talked about higher, love-based actions yielding a higher vibration. One who consistently emits and receives higher vibrations is said to be in a higher state of awareness. Frequency of vibration of the planet is thus an important factor affecting our collective consciousness. It is another specific quantity, measurable in Hertz (Hz) units. One pulse or beat per second equals one Hz.

The Earth has a base resonant frequency at which it pulses. (Some say that this is the OM of creation in the Hindu traditions.)  All life-forms on the planet would entrain to resonate to the same frequency. Earth's base resonant frequency, until recently, has been 7.8 Hz. Many organizations including military operations have relied on this constant for their transmissions, but have been alarmed recently because the base rate seems to be increasing. The planet's base resonant frequency is also known as the Schumann Resonance, after W. O. Schumann, a German physicist who predicted the increase in vibration back in the 1950s.

The base frequency of the planet has been almost 8 Hz, which is one of the numbers of the Fibonacci sequence. This frequency is said to be increasing and is thought to be headed for the next step in the sequence, which is that familiar number - 13, the number representing Christ-consciousness.
Brain-wave activity is commonly measured in Hz values;

                                Delta waves range from .5 to 4 Hz - deep sleep,

                                Theta waves from 4 to 8 Hz - relaxed, barely awake,

                                Alpha waves from 8 to 12 Hz - awake,

                                Beta waves from 12 to 23 Hz, high alertness.

As the planet's magnetic field decreases and its vibratory rate increases, we will automatically tend to entrain with the new rate. When viewed in terms of brain wave activity, the Earth at 8 Hz is in a lower alpha state - a state of being barely awake. At thirteen it would be in the early stages of the Beta state of high alertness.

To summarize, as the planet enters this new set of circumstances, it is providing us with a big opportunity to move toward enlightenment, to heal, to raise our own vibratory rates in resonance with the planet’s rising frequency. Just as in the ancient Egyptian temples, we are experiencing lower levels of magnetic strength and thus being exposed to greater amounts of ‘truth’. This process of entrainment will be easier if we let go of old belief systems and learn to react to different circumstances with - you guessed it - less negative, fear-based emotions and more positive, love-based emotions. We will move into the Alpha state. There will be a mass awakening. It’s happening now.

Symptoms of Change

Let’s briefly recap this phenomenon known as the ‘Big Shift’. If we can understand that every aspect of our reality can be thought of as a manifestation of energy vibrating at a specific frequency, then we can better understand this phenomenon. The Big Shift is a name given to the idea that the planet and its occupants are currently undergoing a major change, one that happens in some way every 25,920 years. We are entering a phase in this grand cycle that is causing the vibrations that define our reality to rise.

Many people are increasingly experiencing strange circumstances and symptoms in their lives. Perhaps, as circumstances on the planet are changing, they are feeling the effects of change. Here are some of the more commonly reported symptoms;

- changing patterns of sleep:  People are having difficulty getting enough sleep, feeling wide awake when they should be tired, and sleepy when they should be alert. They report a hard time getting to sleep as well as staying asleep. Many wake up in the middle of the night and some feel like their body is 'buzzing'. Some awaken after a good night's sleep still feeling very tired.

- aches & pains: There is an increase in conditions such as 'chronic fatigue' and 'fibromyalgia', which have no perceivable causal agent such as a germ or virus; muscle stiffness, tension and strange headaches which seem to happen for no reason.

- lucid dreaming:  Most people dream during their sleep. Their astral bodies travel and interact with others in the astral world. However, few people remember this activity or relate it to their everyday physical experiences. Increasing numbers of people are now reporting that they are having more vivid dreams, which they can recall in greater detail. Sometimes strange images and settings are returning in 'flashes' during waking hours.

- perceptions of time:  It seems to some people as though time is 'speeding up'. Events seem to fly by. This phenomenon has been referred to as 'the quickening'. In regards to the laws of karma, many people feel that their fears and 'issues' are being thrown up in their faces to be dealt with at an increasing rate. Circumstances are arising which demand that one embrace a great deal of change. In other words, opportunities to heal are coming in 'fast and furious'. Those who choose to ignore these opportunities are finding that these issues simply will not go away. Some also report moments when, in states of reverie or stupor, time seems to be suspended. If time is a construct, a product of our collective consciousness, then perhaps our perception of time is shifting along with our consciousness.

- a questioning of the value of important relationships: Many people are feeling a withdrawal or a 'drifting away' from some family members, spouses or friends. This feeling is often accompanied by guilt and anxiety. These people are often attracted to new relationships and have a longing to reinvent themselves.

- unusual memory experiences:  Strange, sometimes startling memories drift into consciousness at unexpected times. At other times, names, numbers and otherwise familiar facts seem suddenly inaccessible. Information that one has known for a long time seems to suddenly disappear. The unfamiliar seems familiar and vice-versa.

- shifting values:  What once seemed very important no longer seems to matter. Many people feel that what they are doing is not fulfilling them at a deeper level. They feel listless and unsatisfied yearning for something with more meaning. They often feel disconnected to reality, as if they are walking about in a fog. As mentioned previously, more and more people are becoming 'seekers'.

- breakdown of traditional systems and institutions:  More and more people are questioning the status quo, challenging aspects of life that were recently considered to be 'written in stone'. Institutions such as the government, the church, the education system, the media and the justice system are increasingly under suspicion. This questioning is sometimes dismissed as rampant cynicism, but actually, it may be the result of an increased awareness and a sense that we are continually being deceived and misled by the authorities. Increase in the number of same-sex relationships and divorce rates is testament to a challenging of traditional marital roles. Some feel that we are moving away from monogamy and there is a great confusion about the nature of relationships and commitment.

Researchers claim that evolutionary changes at the genetic level are resulting in a recognizable list of temporary physical symptoms:

- flu-like symptoms such as fevers, sweating, aching bones and joints

- migraine headaches that are unaffected by pain killers.

- dizziness and a feeling of 'not being grounded'.

- ringing in the ears

- muscle spasms and strange aches and pains, often in the back and neck.

- tingling in arms, hands, legs or feet.

- feeling tired or exhausted with a loss of muscular strength.

- feeling as though one can't get enough breath.

- immune system changes, including allergies.

- wanting to sleep longer and more often than normal.

- nails and hair growing more quickly than normal.

- bouts of depression for no real reason.

- anxiety due to a feeling that 'something is going on', but not knowing what it is.

Could it be that these 'symptoms of change' are the result of humanity entraining to higher vibrations? Is our level of awareness and perception of reality in the process of changing?

Those who suspect that we may very well be resonating at ever-higher frequencies may be asking themselves, "what can I do to facilitate the process of entrainment?" Of course, there are many ways - as many as there are people on the planet. Some methods, however, are common to many. To more effectively expose oneself to the rising vibration of the planet, it makes sense to be in greater contact with the planet. Most of us are always several steps removed from a purely natural environment. In the past sixty years, we have become increasingly surrounded by synthetic objects. Our homes, cars, workplaces, etc. are made up of unnatural substances. Plastics, paints and lacquers, synthetic fabrics and other manufactured materials come in contact with us continually. These artificial substances do not carry - do not accurately represent the planetary vibrations in the same way as natural substances that are in closer contact with the Earth. Most people who are immersed in the beauty of nature feel more alive, their moods elevated. Natural objects have a 'power', especially rocks and crystals.

The next logical deduction is to eat natural foods, drink clean, 'living' water and breath unpolluted air. It's not rocket science, it's common sense - natural products of the Earth will tend to be vibrating in resonance with the Earth. Ironically, our physical bodies are our links to the higher realms. You may have heard the expression, "we are not physical entities having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual entities having a physical experience". As true as this may be, it does not mean that our physical selves are somehow less important than our emotional/mental/spiritual selves. Our bodies represent our point of interaction between the physical, third-dimensional realm and those beyond. A healthy body will be better equipped to absorb the enlightening vibrations.

Most of the world's many light-workers feel that we have successfully achieved 'critical mass' - that there are enough people (roughly 10%) who are awake and holding up the frequency of the planet to ensure its survival and to minimize the severity of geo-physical earth-changes. This will enable many of us to take major leaps forward in our healing processes. As a result, there seems to be less of an emphasis on teaching and spreading the word and more of an emphasis on supporting each other. When the road gets a bit rockier and the uncompassionate, damaging institutions on the planet start to fail, we need to be available to each other to offer support. We need to help each other maintain the higher frequency - to assemble and participate in activities that unite and empower each other. More and more people are looking for ways to live in community - living healthy lifestyles, growing organic foods, fostering self-sufficiency.

Challenging Times

We may be heading into challenging times. There may be an increase in cataclysmic events – more earthquakes, tsunamis, eruptions, climate change, oil leaks, atomic radiation, financial meltdowns, etc. As daunting as that may seem, I believe that our rising consciousness is minimizing it. It could be much worse – it has been in the past.

When tragic circumstances come to the planet, we can choose to see them as great opportunities. We can choose to remind ourselves that the physical reality, of which we are all a part, is only a piece of the whole story. This situation needs to be understood from a 'vibrational' point of view. More important than the consequences of these hardships, are the consequences of our reactions to them. It is very difficult not to react with alarm, fear or frothing anger and disgust - I know it has been difficult for me. But a dark room cannot be made light by bringing in more darkness. Alternatively, we could choose to send light into the darkness, we could send love and compassion to those that need it the most.

When the huge tsunami hit a few years back, it was a disaster on the physical level, but on the vibrational level it resulted in a huge outpouring of compassion. It was an opportunity to raise the planet’s vibration. Every cataclysmic event, whether natural or man-made, is an opportunity not only to send light to those who have been most affected by it, but also to those who may have caused it. It is an opportunity to remember that we are not helpless victims, that we have a huge power at our disposal. Our consciousness itself has power. We can pray, we can meditate, we can send positivity in whatever way. We can raise the vibrations and not lower them. We can choose love and compassion over fear, anger and disgust.

Our sense of responsibility is changing. We are still responsible to the state, to our children and loved ones, etc., but our chief responsibility is to ourselves, to our healing process. Our main responsibility is to create and maintain a constant state of love, joy and gratitude. It’s an amazing time to be alive!
