There are many in this world that, when faced with bad news, either are too distracted by daily distractions to notice or sit and blog around complaining that someone should do something about it. There is yet another less popular bunch of bananas that exist who realize that there is not much of anything sensible one can do about these diabolically huge occurrences. So they seek higher ground and head for the hills of Perez Zeledon, an expansive district in diverse southern Costa Rica.
Make no mistake, these are not runners, rather risk takers, dreamers, builders, creators and desirers. These are to be the re-creators of Eden. They come from all over the world with their dreams of a new, conscious society wanting to leave behind the old war torn paradigm, with notebook under arm filled with new ideas to play and experiment with. This diverse group has one thing in common- the desire to build a sustainable future using the magic energy of the tropics to grow everything needed to experience consciousness in humanity.
What has become apparent recently is that there are so many of these individuals living in pockets throughout the area who are just becoming aware of each other and need a source for connection. The Costa Rica South website was born to serve as the thread to connect all these beautiful beads to make one marvelous necklace of creative energy- a place for the exchange of ideas, products and services for the benefit of the a new paradigm. Use it, share it, be it. |

At that time it was only for women, but I would like to do it this time with both men and women. However, and before initiating it, I would like to find out if this idea is something that can be viable in San Isidro. The idea behind it is to create a space for learning, sharing and networking.
If you think that this idea could be of your interest, please let me know and if enough people are interested, we can begin to meet on the last Friday of February 2012:
