Focus On The Feria: Sam's Gifts |
|
Monday, 23 January 2012 17:57 |
|
This is the first of many in a series where we will feature vendors of the famous farmer's market (La Feria) in Perez Zeledon, held weekly Thursdays and Fridays. This week we feature Sam, a good friend to many, and a provider of good quality food, health and gift products to all.
Start your city day off right with one of Sam's popular breakfast burritos. While eating you can pass your eyes over the many interesting items she sells. Sam doesn't stop at breakfast either, where you can move on to find lunch burritos and specials, prepared foods and desserts, some raw, some cooked all fresh and delicious. Sam also prepares trail mixes, dried fruits and tomatoes, live cookies and energy bars, flax seed crackers and sprouts.

For the rebellious ones, getting away has been a life long process to date. Most likely you have made some headway in the consumer working bee area. Even so, ask yourself if the new internet social thing is a passing phase, or has got you hooked? Come on, admit it. How many times have you found yourself cruising the web looking for satisfaction? If they have their way, you won't. Which means they have you tangled in the web for life.

Those that have chosen to make Costa Rica their home have all been categorized by many names since arriving; Ex-patriots, Foreigners, Americans, US citizens, Gringos and Perpetual Tourists. A few more may be added to the list, as recently, several foreigners have been caught and arrested for growing or selling illegal substances on Costa Rican soil. Sure, it is agreed that all humans belong on this earth and should have free rein, but as it stands now, with the current status quo, there are certain customs, rules and laws that need to be respected, even if they seem ridiculous.
